Green Attic Systems

At Green Attic Systems we use HeatBLOC-Ultra exclusively, the most effective radiant barrier product on the market. It has been independently tested by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) for classification as a Interior Radiation Control Coating Systems (IRCCS). Of the four products classified as IRCCS it has the lowest thermal emittance rating and highest thermal reflectance rating. This is the only radiant barrier coating we consider effective enough to provide to our clients.

The IRS offers tax credits for the purchase of radiant barrier products when used in conjunction with new insulation. These tax credits are equal to 30%, up to $1500 total, of the cost of the installation and materials. Information regarding these tax credits can be found at the Energy Star website.
